These terms cover your use of the Connex website (connexbi.com) and the Connex product. We have tried to keep them short and direct because we think you deserve to understand what you are agreeing to without wading through pages of legalese.
By using our website or product, you are agreeing to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use them.
If you have entered into a separately executed Master Service Agreement (MSA) with Connex covering your use of the product, the terms of that MSA govern your access to the product and supersede these Terms to the extent of any conflict. These Terms still apply to your use of our website.
These Terms are a contract between you and Connex. If you have questions about these Terms, you can reach us at sam@connexbi.com.
Connex is a business intelligence platform that connects to your existing software tools, normalizes the data they hold, and makes it available for analysis and dashboards. The full description of features lives at connexbi.com/product.
If you create an account with Connex, you are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for activity that happens under your account. Let us know right away if you think your account has been accessed without your permission.
You own your data. That includes anything you upload to Connex and anything we pull from third-party systems on your behalf via connectors you authorize. We use your data only to provide the product to you. We do not sell your data and we do not use your data to train AI models without your explicit consent.
You agree not to use the website or product to:
If we believe you are violating these rules, we may suspend or terminate your access. We will try to give you notice first when it is reasonable to do so.
If you are using a paid version of Connex, the fees and payment terms are set out in the order form or MSA you signed with us. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law or as otherwise stated in your agreement.
If your account is past due, we may suspend access until payment is resolved.
Connex connects to third-party services like Jira, Salesforce, Google Analytics, and others through connectors you authorize. Those services have their own terms and privacy policies, which govern your relationship with them. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or behavior of those third-party services.
Connex (including the website, product, code, and brand) belongs to us. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the product as long as you are in compliance with these Terms and any agreement we have with you.
Anything you submit to us as feedback or suggestions about the product can be used by us to improve Connex, without obligation to you.
We work hard to keep Connex available and running, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may need to take the service offline for maintenance, updates, or to address security issues. If you have an MSA with us, any specific uptime commitments live in that agreement.
Our Privacy Policy explains what information we collect and how we handle it. By using Connex, you agree to the practices described there.
The website and product are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
We do not warrant that the product will be error-free, secure against every possible threat, or that it will meet every requirement you have. Decisions made based on data accessed through Connex are your responsibility.
To the extent permitted by law, Connex will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost profits, lost data, or business interruption, arising out of or related to your use of the website or product.
Our total liability for any claim arising out of these Terms is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim, or one hundred dollars if you have not paid us.
If you have an MSA with us, the liability terms in that agreement apply instead.
You can stop using Connex at any time. If you have a paid account, the cancellation terms in your agreement apply.
We may terminate your access if you violate these Terms, if your account is past due, or if we are required to do so by law. We will try to give you reasonable notice when we can.
On termination, your right to use the product ends. We will provide a reasonable window for you to export your data, as described in any agreement we have with you.
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. For material changes, we will do our best to notify users directly. Your continued use of the product after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict of laws principles. Any disputes that cannot be resolved through good-faith discussion will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Florida.
